Finished Final Poster

The poster above is my final poster which I will go on to print in A3 size. Overall I am really pleased with how it turned out. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to include the pictures of the type I had taken, however by editing them in photoshop and placing a colour overlay on them I made them blend into the poster design. I am also pleased with how my St Paul's building has turned out, even though I had to but a few corners by copying and pasting on of the left building structures and placing it on the opposite side. However I don't think people will notice it that much and will still recognize it as St Paul's.

One thing I don't like about the poster is all the little mistakes i can keep seeing now that its printed out on paper and i can see it on paper rather than just on a computer screen. For example where the 'H' is on October 10th it seems to be far off on its own from the T. I also don't like how I can spot gapes in my St Paul's, wishing that i would have noticed it before printing it off. However I don't feel these a major mistakes and can easily be solved and reprinted in the near future.

I believe that when people look at this poster they will understand what its advertising and will grab the attention of the audience I am aiming at, Type enthusiasts and people who enjoy looking at type. I also think if a tourist were to look at this they may be interested in what it is all about and may even think to join in.
